What we place

What we produce in China, from 100 pcs.

Seven product families, each placed with a documented factory built for it. The minimum is per style; custom-dyed fabric can raise it per colorway, because the mill sets the dye-lot minimum.

Bulk lead times run from approved sample to goods ready. Sampling adds 2–4 weeks before that.

  • Every factory we list or place with has been visited in person by our team. We check that it is the factory doing the sewing, not a trading company passing your order on, and we record what it actually produces and its real minimums.

  • The factory quotes you and bills you directly. Bulk production starts on a 30% deposit. The 70% balance is paid only after a third-party inspection of the finished goods.

  • An independent inspector checks a sample of the finished order against your tech pack before shipment: measurements, workmanship, labels and packing. If the goods fail, the balance is not released until the factory fixes them.

  • From 100 pieces per style for knits, jersey, wovens and dresses; 150 for outerwear; 200 for denim and activewear. Custom-dyed fabric can raise the minimum per colorway, because the mill sets the dye-lot minimum, not the sewing line.

  • Sampling takes 2–4 weeks. Bulk takes 8–11 weeks from approved sample to goods ready to ship, depending on the product. If you have a ship date, start at least 14 weeks before it, and plan around Chinese New Year, when factories close for roughly two to four weeks.

  • Typical cut, make and trim: $4–9 for a t-shirt, $10–20 for a hoodie, $14–32 for a dress, $28–65 for a jacket. Fabric, trims, complexity and quantity move it. The cost calculator gives a range before you talk to anyone.

  • Sending a brief is free. If we can place it, our fee is quoted in writing after we read the brief, before any work starts, and it is never tied to your order size. We take no commission from factories.

  • Not to send a brief, but a factory cannot quote accurately without one. Our tech pack service is $79 per style, delivered in 3–5 working days with 2–3 revision rounds.

  • Most export-oriented factories have at least one English-speaking contact, usually in sales. Smaller workshops may work mainly in Chinese. The brief and the tech pack are what keep the order on track, so we make sure both are clear before sampling starts.
