    No factory kickbacks

    We take no commission from factories. Our fee, when there is one, is quoted to you in writing before any work starts, so the factory we pick is the one built for your product, not the one that pays us.

    Straight answers

    Even when the answer is “China is wrong for this”. If your target price, quantity or ship date does not work with a documented factory, we tell you in the first reply.

    We work with factories that take a 100-piece order seriously. Independent brands start small, and a first run should not be treated as a favor.

How the money moves

You pay the balance after the inspection. Not before.

The usual China horror story starts with 100% paid up front. Ours ends with a third-party inspector checking the finished order before the 70% leaves your account.

What a visit checks

  • A real factory, doing the sewing itself, not a trading company passing your order on
  • The lines that run your category, working on similar product the day we visit
  • Real minimums per style and per colorway
  • An English-speaking contact who answers email
  • Certificates on file: we ask for the certificate number and the mill name, not the logo

Where we work

Four clusters, four specialisms.

We place production in the four provinces where China’s clothing supply chain is concentrated. Specialisms, not a quality ranking: the right one depends on your product and quantity.

Every cluster closes for roughly 2–4 weeks around Chinese New Year (late January or February). Plan your sampling around it.
