Cost calculator

What will it cost to make it in China?

Pick the garment, fabric tier, quantity and construction. You get a directional FOB range per piece and for the run, before any factory quotes you. A binding price still needs a tech pack and a factory quote.

Anatomy of an FOB price

Where each dollar of the unit cost goes.

Factories rarely break a quote out line by line. This is the usual split, so you know which lines move when you change fabric, quantity or construction.

How to read the number

A range to plan with, not a quote.

  1. 01

    It is directional

Use it to set a budget and a target price for your brief. Two hoodies with the same inputs can quote differently once the fabric weight and trims are fixed.

  2. 02

    It stops at FOB

Freight, duty and the third-party inspection are not in the range. For duty, confirm your HTS code with your customs broker.

  3. 03

A real quote needs a tech pack

A factory prices your measurements, bill of materials and construction. No tech pack yet? We make one for $79 per style, in 3–5 working days.

  • It gives a directional range so you can plan a budget. The real price comes from a factory quote against your tech pack: fabric, trims, construction details and quantity all move it.

  • FOB (Free On Board) is the price per unit with the goods loaded at the port of origin, before freight, duties and delivery. Benchmark every factory quote on FOB so you compare like with like.

  • No. Logistics and duties typically add 6–11% on top of FOB to reach a landed price, but duty depends on the product and on where you import it. Confirm your HTS code with your customs broker.

  • Yes. A factory cannot give a binding price without measurements, a bill of materials, stitch types, labels and packing. Our tech pack service is $79 per style, delivered in 3–5 working days with 2–3 revision rounds.

  • Our floor is 100 pieces per style (150 for outerwear and tailoring, 200 for denim and activewear). Under 100, ask us in your brief: we tell you honestly whether a documented factory can do it or whether small-batch production fits better.

  • We use it to send the breakdown you asked for and to reply about your estimate. We never sell it or share it with factories or third parties.

What you are pricing

Every line of the estimate is a step on the floor.

Fabric, cutting, sewing, trims, finishing and packing make up the FOB price. The calculator gives a directional range; a tech pack and a factory quote make it binding.
